About Me

My name is Ms. Allmon and this will be my first full year of teaching. I graduated high school in 2005 from Southwestern Randolph. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher, so in December of 2009 I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Elementary Education. I did my student teaching in fifth grade and I loved every minute! After graduation, I landed a job right here at Ramseur teaching first and fourth grade ESL, and now I am teaching fifth grade!

I love spending time with my friends and family, especially my nieces and nephews. I have two nephews, ages 7 and 18 months, and two nieces, ages 6 and 3. They are my pride and joy! I love to go to Clemson football games to cheer on my beloved Tigers! You will see me wearing a lot of orange, especially on Fridays during football season. I also enjoy cooking, playing tennis, and shopping.

I am very excited to be able to start my teaching career here at Ramseur Elementary. I know this will be a great year and I can't wait to learn more about you!

Welcome

Welcome to fifth grade! I am so excited to have such a wonderful group of students and I truly can't wait to get the year started. This blog will be a place where students and parents can come and check out what is going on in the classroom. There will be frequent updates made by the students and myself, so check back often to see what is happening!
